Can I discuss my interests before a Tantra session? Why I Don't Discuss Session Details by Text, Email, or in Your Consultation Call

One of the questions I receive from time to time is, "Can I discuss my interests before a Tantra session?"
Why do I not discuss detailed session content through text messages, emails, or even during the initial consultation call?
The answer is simple: each form of communication has a specific purpose.
Text messaging is reserved for scheduling and appointment-related matters only. This includes booking, confirmations, cancellations, rescheduling, and other logistical information. Please avoid discussing personal interests, fantasies, desires, or detailed questions about what may or may not occur during a session here.
Likewise, email is intended for general communication, providing information about my services, and answering basic questions about my process and policies. It is not used to design or negotiate sessions.
The consultation call serves a different purpose as well. Its role is to answer general questions, review my process, discuss requirements and policies, and determine whether we are an appropriate fit to work together. It is not a planning session or an opportunity to discuss detailed activities or create a customized experience before an appointment has even been scheduled.
Why am I so intentional about the question: Can I discuss my interests before a Tantra session?
Because meaningful conversations deserve an appropriate setting. The work I offer is personal, nuanced, and built upon mutual respect, trust, and professional communication. Conversations about your intentions, your interests, your goals, and whether they align with my approach are best held during a scheduled appointment, where we have dedicated time, privacy, and the ability to communicate clearly without distractions or misunderstandings.
This approach also protects both of us.
It allows me to remain fully present rather than navigating complex or sensitive discussions through fragmented texts or emails. It also ensures that conversations remain confidential and take place within the professional container I have intentionally created for my practice.
Over the years, I have learned that clear communication benefits everyone. When expectations are established from the beginning, there is less confusion, fewer misunderstandings, and a stronger foundation for the work we may choose to do together.

My Communication Policy
To keep communication clear and consistent, I ask that the following guidelines be respected:
Text messaging is reserved for scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, rescheduling, and other appointment-related logistics.
Email is appropriate for general questions about my services, policies, and booking process.
Consultation calls are for determining compatibility, reviewing my process, and answering general questions—not discussing detailed session content.
Conversations regarding your interests, intentions, expectations, or what may or may not be appropriate for a session take place during a scheduled appointment.
Or after you have become a client, you may book another consultation call for 20 minutes at the rate of $50. If you book another session within two weeks, the $50 will go towards your appointment. This is not a deposit.
These policies are not meant to create distance. They are intended to create clarity, professionalism, confidentiality, and mutual respect.
When both practitioner and seeker understand the purpose of each form of communication, it allows us to begin our work together with clear expectations and a solid foundation.
With Respect,
Priestess Goddess Maggie
