Bondassage® and Elysium®: Exploring Trust, Sensation, and Release
Bondassage® and Elysium®: Exploring Trust, Sensation, and Release
Massage and bodywork can provide many different experiences. Sometimes we want our muscles worked deeply. Sometimes we simply want to relax. And sometimes we want an experience that allows us to step outside of our everyday lives, relinquish control, explore different sensations, and discover something new about ourselves.
Bondassage® and Elysium by Bondassage®, created by professional bodyworker Jaeleen Bennis, offer two very different approaches to that exploration.
I offer both modalities at my private location in Delaware, along with Tantra and other forms of bodywork. Over my many years of working professionally with clients, I have learned that there is no single type of touch or bodywork that works for everyone. Our bodies respond differently. Our comfort levels are different. And what allows one person to completely relax may be very different from what another person needs.
That is part of what makes Bondassage® and Elysium® so interesting.
What Is Bondassage®?
Bondassage® combines elements of bodywork with consensual bondage, sensory exploration, and varying degrees of intensity.
Being bound changes the experience of receiving touch. Rather than anticipating what comes next or instinctively moving in response, you have an opportunity to surrender more completely to the sensations being created.
That surrender requires trust and vulnerability.
For someone who spends much of their everyday life making decisions, managing responsibilities, or being the person who is always in control, temporarily giving up some of that control can feel remarkably freeing.
Bondassage® can also incorporate a wide variety of sensory tools. Some sensations may be extremely soft; others can be considerably more intense.
A bunny-hair flogger, for example, produces an entirely different sensation from a leather flogger. Leather can be slowly moved across the skin or used for stronger impact. Other sensations may involve temperature, texture, pressure, restraint, or percussion.
The purpose isn't simply intensity.
It's contrast.
When the body experiences soft touch followed by something stronger—or stillness followed by unexpected sensation—it can heighten awareness of the body in ways that ordinary massage may not.

Why Would Someone Choose Bondassage®?
People are drawn to Bondassage® for different reasons. Some are curious about consensual bondage but want to explore it within a structured professional experience. Some enjoy stronger sensations. Others are interested in what it feels like to surrender control.
And some simply discover that their bodies respond differently to this kind of sensory stimulation.
I understand that personally.
When I experienced a leather flogger across my own back and shoulders, I was surprised by the physical response. For me, the experience released muscular tension differently—and more effectively in those areas—than the deep-tissue massage I was accustomed to.
That doesn't mean everyone will have the same response.
It illustrates something I believe strongly after many years of working with bodies: there isn't only one way to experience release.
Sometimes softness allows us to let go.
Sometimes stronger sensation does.
And sometimes it is the contrast between the two.
What Is Elysium®?
Elysium® offers another path entirely. Also created by Jaeleen Bennis, Elysium by Bondassage® is slower, softer, and more sensual in nature. It focuses on connected bodywork, conscious touch, relaxation, and subtle sensory experiences.
There is no intense impact play. There is no smacking, pinching, pulling, or squeezing.
For someone who finds Bondassage® intriguing but isn't comfortable with stronger sensations or bondage, Elysium® can be a wonderful alternative. The slower pace provides an opportunity to stop anticipating what comes next and simply experience what is happening in the moment.
For some people, that is the challenge.
We spend so much of our lives thinking about what happened yesterday or what needs to happen tomorrow that simply remaining present in our bodies can be surprisingly difficult.
Elysium® provides an environment in which you can slow down and receive.
The Benefits Can Go Beyond Relaxation
One of the things I appreciate about both modalities is that they invite body awareness.
When we deliberately pay attention to sensation, we begin noticing subtleties we might ordinarily ignore: where we're holding tension, when we instinctively tighten our muscles, what types of touch allow us to relax, and where our personal boundaries actually are.
Bondassage® adds another element: trust.
Allowing yourself to be restrained requires a degree of vulnerability. For the experience to work, communication and consent matter enormously. This is why I don't approach Bondassage® as simply tying someone to a table and introducing different toys or sensations.
The relationship between practitioner and client matters.
How I Approach These Sessions
I have worked professionally in this industry for many years, and my approach has always placed a strong emphasis on communication, boundaries, trust, and mutual respect.
I don't believe every service is appropriate for every person.
That is one reason I screen prospective clients before accepting them. I want to understand who I am working with, and I want you to have an opportunity to learn about me and my approach before deciding whether I am the right practitioner for you.
My sessions are offered at my location in Delaware. I do not travel to clients. People come to me from Delaware and surrounding areas, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.
I also don't believe you need to arrive knowing exactly what you want.
If you are curious about Bondassage® but uncertain about certain sensations, that can be communicated. If you know something is an absolute no, communicate that as well.
Consent isn't the absence of saying no.
Good consent includes being able to communicate yes, no, perhaps, slower, softer, stronger, or simply "I'm not sure yet."
Your needs, wants, and desires help shape the experience within the structure of the modality.
Bondassage® or Elysium®—Which Is Right for You?
If you enjoy stronger sensations, are curious about consensual bondage, or want to explore the experience of relinquishing control, Bondassage® may appeal to you.
If you prefer something slow-moving, soft, nurturing, and sensual without impact play, Elysium® may be the better choice.
And you don't have to begin with either.
You can schedule a Tantra session first and, if you're curious, we can discuss whether Bondassage® or Elysium® might be something you would enjoy exploring in the future.
If you're seriously considering Bondassage® or Elysium® but would like to determine whether it is appropriate for you before scheduling, I also offer a 20-minute phone consultation for $50. If you schedule your session within two weeks, that $50 is applied toward your session.
Ultimately, neither Bondassage® nor Elysium® is about performing, proving yourself, or seeing how much sensation you can tolerate.
They are opportunities to explore touch, trust, vulnerability, sensation, presence, and release in very different ways.
Sometimes we discover something about ourselves when we take control.
And sometimes we discover something entirely different when we allow ourselves to surrender.
I have many clients that have driven up to 3 hours to schedule with me. From Philly, South Jersey, Baltimore, D.C., Northern Virginia, and beyond.
